What is a "remanufactured" toner cartridge?
Remanufactured Toner Cartridges are cartridges which have been used , rebuilt (all internal parts replaced) and refilled. West Michigan Laser does not refill toner cartridges.... we remanufacture them, that is why we can offer the guarantee we do.
What is a "compatible" ink or toner cartridge?
Compatible cartridges are new cartridges manufactured to match the cartridge that came with your printer. Ink Cartridges which have a printhead on them (HP and Lexmark) are remanufactured because the printhead has circuitry on it which is patent protected and can't be duplicated. The circuitry is tested prior to being remanufactured to guarantee a good product.
Will using "remanufactured" or "compatible" toner or ink cartridges affect my printer warranty?
The manufacturer of the printer your printer cannot void the warranty because you use a cartridge or toner manufactured by someone other than the printer manufacturer. Please read the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Improvement Act found in our KNOW YOUR RIGHTS information area.
